General Description:
Para-driving is an equestrian sport for people with disabilities, where the horse is driven in harness (with a carriage). The main focus is on coordination, precision, and adaptability.
History:
It emerged as a way for people with disabilities to participate in equestrian sports. Today, it is featured at international competitions.
Internationally:
The FEI governs para-driving as a separate discipline with its own set of rules and competition levels.
In Kazakhstan:
Still in its early development phase. It is actively used in inclusive clubs and social projects.
Interesting Fact:
At some competitions, joystick-based control is used — especially for athletes with musculoskeletal impairments.
