Kazakhstan’s Best Young Dressage Horses Named

The Kazakhstan National Championship for young horses has concluded in the Almaty Region. The dressage competitions were held at the Kobylangdy Stud Farm.

The main goal of the tournament was to identify promising sport horses and prepare them for prestigious national and international competitions.

The national competition program included tests based on the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) programs for four age categories: 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-year-old horses. The judging panel assessed the correctness of the gaits, submission, balance, and the overall potential of the future dressage stars.

Following the competition, the winners and medalists in each age group were determined.

4-year-old horses:

1st place – Kamilla Rakhmatullina on CON CAIIBER ANI

2nd place – Kamilla Rakhmatullina on CANDY GIRL

3rd place – Almira Yusupova on REMARK AST

5-year-old horses:

1st place – Ravil Tursunov on EBOR

2nd place – Ravil Tursunov on LEPESTOK

3rd place – Almira Yusupova on Grace

6-year-old horses:

1st place – Darya Ovsyannikova on SARDAR

2nd place – Emilia Okhotinskaya on KARTEL

3rd place – Darya Gerasimenko on FREDDY

The winners were awarded championship medals and diplomas.
