Young Kazakh riders competed at the international pony sport tournament in Moscow

From November 6 to 9, 2025, the first international pony sport tournament “Friendship Cup of Young Riders of the World” took place at the Izmailovo Equestrian Complex in Moscow.
The event was included in the international competition calendar and held with the support of the CIS Executive Committee. Over 200 athletes from Russia, Kazakhstan, the USA, Romania, Norway, and Belarus took part in the competition.
Kazakhstan was represented by Saida Sarsenbi, Laysan Zhaksilyk, and Aidana Satenova from Almaty.
In the show jumping discipline (40 cm course), the athletes achieved 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.
In the dressage competition (compulsory program No. 1), they placed 4th, 5th, and 6th.
The Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulates the young athletes and their coaches on a successful performance and expresses gratitude to the tournament organizers for hosting the event at a high level.
Participation in such international competitions helps to develop pony sport in Kazakhstan, build valuable competitive experience, and nurture the next generation of professional riders.
