Endurance riding

General Description:
Endurance riding is a long-distance equestrian race where horse and rider cover distances from 40 to 160 km. The key goal is to finish fast and safely.

History:
It originates from the ancient traditions of nomadic peoples. The modern sport was developed in the 20th century in the USA.

Internationally:
The FEI organizes World and Asian Championships, as well as Nations Cups. Strict veterinary checks are mandatory throughout the competition.

In Kazakhstan:
National and regional endurance rides are held regularly. Both professional athletes and amateurs participate.

Interesting Fact:
Some courses take riders through deserts, mountains, and rivers — a true test of spirit and stamina.
