Eventing

General Description:
Eventing is a combined equestrian competition consisting of three phases: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. It is considered one of the most challenging Olympic equestrian disciplines.

History:
Originally used as a military test for cavalry officers. It was included in the Olympic Games in 1912.

Internationally:
The FEI regulates safety, judging, and course standards. The most prestigious competitions include the World and European Championships.

In Kazakhstan:
Facilities for initial training and competitions are being developed. Interest in eventing is growing among young athletes.

Interesting Fact:
During the cross-country phase, the rider and horse overcome up to 40 obstacles, including water, ditches, logs, and hills.
