Young riders become winners of the National Equestrian Championship

From May 9 to 11, 2025, the Kazakhstan National Show Jumping Championship among juniors and youth took place at Almaty Horse & Polo Club. The competition brought together young athletes from various regions of the country.
Courses of varying difficulty — from 100 to 130 cm — were held during the championship. The winners in each category are as follows:
Route №1 / 120 cm
1st place – Sofi Kozhevnikova, Almaty
2nd place – Bekzhan Baizhanuly, Almaty Region
3rd place – Arina Murygina, Almaty Region
Route №2 / 110 cm
1st place – Amira Kabzhanova, Astana
2nd place – Zhandos Zhakyp, Astana
3rd place – Malika Serik, Astana
Route №3 / 100 cm
1st place – Zlata Lyublina, Astana
2nd place – Laziza Ilyaeva, Shymkent
3rd place – Amina Syzdykbekova, Shymkent
Route №4 / 130 cm
1st place – Bekzhan Baizhanuly, Almaty Region
2nd place – Arina Murygina, Almaty Region
3rd place – Sofi Kozhevnikova, Almaty
Route №6, Group 110 cm
1st place – Amina Syzdykbekova, Shymkent
2nd place – Kira Pak, Almaty
3rd place – Khadiya Sovetkhan, Astana
Based on the two days of competition, the overall champions of Kazakhstan were determined:
Route 1-4, Group “A”, 120/130 cm
1st place – Sofi Kozhevnikova, Almaty
2nd place – Bekzhan Baizhanuly, Almaty Region
3rd place – Arina Murygina, Almaty Region
Route №2–5 / 110–120 cm
1st place – Estella Babayan, Shymkent
2nd place – Malika Serik, Astana
3rd place – Yana Zhemchuzhina, Astana
Route №3–6, Group “C”, 100–110 cm
1st place – Amina Syzdykbekova, Shymkent
2nd place – Ratmir Pronin, Almaty
3rd place – Kira Pak, Almaty
This championship once again highlighted the growing popularity of equestrian sport among the younger generation and served as an important platform to identify new talent across the country.
