When the strength of the human spirit rises above every obstacle…

On 23–24 July, the Titan Equestrian Club in Ust-Kamenogorsk hosted the 10th Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Cup for the Para Dressage and Special Olympics programs.
Thirty riders from Almaty, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Ridder took to the arena. Each performance represented far more than a sporting competition—it was a story of courage, resilience, unwavering determination, and a profound bond between horse and rider.
Equestrian sport offers people with disabilities not only the opportunity to compete and succeed, but also the confidence to believe in themselves, discover new possibilities, build lasting friendships, and realize that nothing is impossible. That is why these competitions hold such special significance: they unite, inspire, and transform lives.
The Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Cup in Para Dressage was won by Raikhan Bairkanova, who competes in Grade I, the classification for athletes with the most severe physical impairments. Her victory is a powerful reminder that true strength comes from within.
The Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Cup – Special Olympics Program was claimed by Oleg Startsev, a participant and medalist at the 2023 Special Olympics World Games. His achievement is a well-deserved reward for his perseverance, talent, and dedication to the sport.
We sincerely congratulate all the winners, medalists, coaches, parents, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to this inspiring celebration of sport. You demonstrate that true champions are defined not only by medals, but by strength of character, self-belief, and the determination to keep moving forward.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Titan Equestrian Club and the “Ak Tai” Foundation for Supporting Children with Disabilities for the outstanding organization of the event and for their invaluable contribution to the development of inclusive equestrian sport in Kazakhstan.
