Sovetkhan Khadiya: the path in sport is not always easy

According to Sovetkhan Khadiya, the path in sport is not always easy. However, it is precisely these challenges that shape a person. The most important qualities are discipline, perseverance, and personal responsibility. These traits help a rider overcome any obstacle.

For Khadiya, horse riding is more than just a sport. For the Kazakh people, a way of life deeply connected with horses and the art of riding is an inherent value. It reflects a spirit, character, and a desire for freedom rooted in history.

Khadiya is 14 years old and competes in show jumping. Her journey in equestrian sport began at an early age: she first mounted a horse at the age of three, and from the age of six she started regular training. For the past five years, her trusted partner has been a horse named Taskara. This partnership is built on mutual trust and harmony.

During the current season, Khadiya competed in the Eurasian League World Cup stages, championships among children and juniors, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regional championships, as well as national competitions held in Russia and across various regions of Kazakhstan.
Her training is conducted under the guidance of Nurmukhamed Korganbekov.

The Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan highly values the dedication and perseverance of young riders and consistently supports their journey in elite sport.
