Kazakhstan Show Jumping Championship for Young Horses Concludes in Almaty Region

On July 26–27, the Kazakhstan Show Jumping Championship for Young Horses was held at the Almaty Horse & Polo Club.
The main goal of the championship was to identify promising horses in the show jumping discipline.

Riders from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and the Almaty Region took part in the competition. Young horses aged 4 to 7 competed on courses with obstacle heights ranging from 80 to 130 cm.

During the competition, judges evaluated the horses’ technique in overcoming obstacles, style, speed, and the interaction between rider and horse – all key elements that build the foundation for successful performances in the future.

Competition results:
№4 (4 years, 80–100 cm)
1st place – Zhalgasbek Suleymenkulov – Lebed
2nd place – Kylyshbek Gappar – Tutankhamun
3rd place – Bekzhan Baizhanuly – Conquistador

№3 (5 years, 100–110 cm)
1st place – Shyngys Malikazhdar – Karael
2nd place – Anuar Dosmailov – Google
3rd place – Maria Dorofeeva – Tiffany

№2 (6 years, 110–120 cm)
1st place – Petr Solovyov – Need for High
2nd place – Ravil Tursunov – Magellan
3rd place – Shyngys Malikazhdar – Manfred Evans

№1 (7 years, 120–130 cm)
1st place – Azamat Khasenov – Easy Star

The championship for young horses plays an important role in the development of equestrian sport in Kazakhstan. Such competitions make it possible to identify promising horses at an early stage and objectively assess the results of their training.
