Kazakh Rider Raisa Sokolenko Wins Team Event at International Tournament in Ratomka

From July 3 to 6, the international individual and team show jumping tournament “Commonwealth Cup” was held in Ratomka (Republic of Belarus). The competition brought together athletes from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, and also representatives of the Kazakhstan national team.
On the final day of the tournament, team competitions were held over a 145 cm course, where riders competed for team honors.
Kazakhstan’s Raisa Sokolenko, riding Uran, completed the first round with zero penalties. In the second round, the riders from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan joined forces to form Team “Commonwealth”, which included Uzbekistan’s national team member Bekzod Kurbanov. Together, they demonstrated excellent skills and confidently secured victory in the team event, finishing as tournament leaders.
Participation in such tournaments contributes to the professional growth of Kazakh riders, strengthens international sporting ties, and promotes equestrian sports in the Republic.
