Astana to Host Three FEI Tournaments Simultaneously: Kazakhstan Reaches a New Level in International Equestrian Sport
From May 28 to 31, 2026, Astana will host three international tournaments under the auspices of the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) for the first time simultaneously: the FEI World Cup Qualifier, the FEI World Challenge Final, and the CDI1*/CDI3* international competitions.
These tournaments will serve as qualification events for the FEI World Championships 2026 in Aachen and will open new opportunities for Kazakhstani athletes: for the first time, they will be able to earn international ranking points without leaving the country.
Riders from Brazil, Colombia, India, Morocco, New Zealand, South Africa, Egypt, Ecuador, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other countries are expected to participate.
The program includes international-level show jumping and dressage competitions, with the highlight being the FEI World Cup Grand Prix featuring obstacles up to 160 cm.
Hosting three FEI tournaments at once will mark an important step in strengthening Kazakhstan’s position on the global equestrian sports map.
