Kazakhstan Equestrian Federation to Hold Two National Tournaments in Para Equestrian and Special Olympics Programmes

On 23–24 July 2026, the Titan Equestrian Club (Vinnoye Village, Glubokoye District, East Kazakhstan Region) will host two major national competitions: the Open Cup of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Para Equestrian Programme and the Open Cup of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Special Olympics Programme.
The tournaments are aimed at developing adaptive equestrian sport in Kazakhstan, creating equal opportunities for athletes with disabilities, improving the competitive skills of participants, identifying promising riders and horses, and promoting inclusive sport and an active lifestyle.
The competitions will be held under the auspices of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event is jointly organized by Titan Equestrian Club and the Ak Tai Foundation for the Support of Children with Disabilities.
The competition programme includes dressage and trail (Working Trail, English style) events. Athletes competing in the Special Olympics programme will be divided into divisions according to their level of ability following the mandatory divisioning process before the competitions begin.
The official programme includes a veterinary inspection, the opening ceremony, competition rounds, and the awards ceremony for the winners and medalists. The best-performing athletes will receive medals, diplomas, and commemorative prizes. The competitor achieving the highest combined result in the dressage and trail disciplines will be awarded the Equestrian Federation Cup.
Holding these two tournaments simultaneously marks an important step in the development of para equestrian and Special Olympics equestrian sport in Kazakhstan. It reflects the Federation’s commitment to creating opportunities for every athlete, regardless of health conditions, while promoting the principles of equal opportunity, sporting excellence, and horse welfare.
