KAZAKHSTAN AND TURKMENISTAN STRENGTHEN COOPERATION IN EQUESTRIAN SPORTS

Today, the Head of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rustam Bayaliyev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Batyr Rejepov, at the Argymak Equestrian Complex.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in equestrian sports, strengthening professional and sporting ties, and implementing joint initiatives between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
Special attention was given to establishing a systematic framework for cooperation between the two countries. Both sides expressed their readiness to develop a joint cooperation plan that will include the exchange of expertise, the expansion of sporting relations, and the implementation of promising projects in the field of equestrian sports.
Batyr Rejepov highlighted the dynamic development of equestrian sports in Kazakhstan and the country’s growing presence on the international sporting stage, emphasizing the strong potential for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Rustam Bayaliyev noted that Kazakhstan is committed to building a long-term and meaningful partnership with Turkmenistan based on shared historical traditions, respect for national equestrian heritage, and a common vision for the development of modern equestrian sports.
Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are nations with a rich equestrian heritage. Today, this shared legacy serves as a foundation for new joint initiatives, stronger international cooperation, and the promotion of Central Asian equestrian sports on the global stage.
